An article on participation in the riots fell under an amnesty, the decision on which was adopted by the State Duma on December 18, 2013. An amnesty can be applied within six months from the date of publication of the document. On the amnesty, the defendants in the “swamp business” were liberated , who did not charged Article 318 (violence against the policeman).
