Mokmff announced the program

The program of the IX Moscow International Open Book Festival was announced, which will be held from June 11 to 14 at the Central House of the Artist in Moscow.

The MMOKF program consists of four directions: “Books” , “Music” , “Cinema” and “Children” .

The program “Books” Special Projects of the Festival “Life of wonderful people”, “Culinary lectureur”, “ambassadors of poetry: international poetic project”. Russian and foreign writers, publishers, philosophers, culturalists, critics and publicists will meet with readers, discuss the present and future of literature and cultural trends of this year.

Lev Rubinstein, Linor Goralik, Evgeny Vodolazkin, Mariam Petrosyan and many other authors will present their new books. The historian of philosophy, translator and publisher Valery Anashvili will perform with the author's show program.

In the center of the children's program of the festival will be the problem of persecution in schools. In particular, the Forum Theater of the Celland Center will present an interactive performance “Relations” about the problems of relations between students at school, while the audience will be able to change the plot of an interactive performance.

Belgian writer, teacher of the history of literature, Christoph Wang Ross will conduct a philosophical workshop - will teach children to express their thoughts, argue, ask and, in addition, carefully listen to others.

All days of Moktkf’s work will be opened by a children's playground, designed by the art director of the Samota Publishing House Tatyana Cormer, and a large open-air playing area with book games on books. Games were created by artists Zina Surova and Katya Silina.

Participants in the Heroes program will draw your favorite literary characters. Oleg Bukharov, Alexander Reichstein and other illustrators will help them in Echom.

In the music program, Moktkf, the Books & Music exhibition-fair, which will be held on the second floor of the Central House of Artists. There will be presented artistic, scientific, educational and children's literature, art books, engravings and bukinistic publications, as well as rare records.

This year, the festival will open the photo pavilion “Moscow. 14th year ” , whose visitors can take pictures and get their portrait by email. In addition, lectures and master classes on the art of a photo-portrait will be held in the pavilion.

On June 11, Mokmkf will be announced by long lists of the Yasnaya Polyana literary prize and a prize in the field of popular science literature “Enlightener”, as well as the presentation of the poetic prize “Moscow Account”. On June 13, in the Kino-concert hall of the Central House of Sciences will be held the awarding ceremony of the laureates of the independent musical prize "The Steppe Wolf" .

In total, more than 300 events are planned at the festival: musical concerts, presentations, master classes, author’s show of writers, discussions and round tables dedicated to the modern literary movement.
