"Swamp business" and strategy-6

For two years, the “swamp business” has been accompanied by the “occupiers” of the buildings of the Moscow police and the Investigative Committee, walks, runs, bicycle rallies, rallies, promotions and pickets in support of “Swamp Prisoners”, in most cases inconsistent and spontaneous. The weekly walks on Krasnaya and Manezhnaya Squares by the end of 2013 were transformed into Strategy-6, the shares of which are held monthly in the center of Moscow on the sixth. In Moscow alone, for two years, at least 1479 people were detained in the course of 65 public events in support of the figurnates of the “swamp business”.

Two years ago, on May 28, 2012, the first detentions were held in Moscow in the case of “riots”, initiated on the day of clashes between the police and participants in the procession on Bolotnaya Square on May 6, 2012.

The detention of suspects in the second part of Article 212 and Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (riots and the use of violence to representatives of the authorities) continued during 2012 and 2013. The first conviction (four and a half years of imprisonment) was issued to Maxim Luzyanin - he pleaded guilty to both articles, and his case was considered separately. In October 2013, the court found guilty of a disabled person of the group II Mikhail Kosenko, who was charged with the use of violence that is life -threatening and health, and sentenced him to forced treatment in a psychiatric hospital (in May 2014 the hospital reported that Kosenko was not a danger and “could go home” - the relevant documents were sent to the court).

In the summer of 2013, a court hearing began in the “Twelve case”: four of its participants accused only under Article 212 of the Criminal Code (Maria Baronova, Vladimir Akimenkov, Nikolai Kaucasian, Leonid Kovyazin) were released under amnesty, the rest of the court found the other in February 2014: Sergey Krivov, Andrei Barabanov, Stepan Zimin, Denis Lutsk, Denis Lutsk, Denis, Denis, Denis, Denis. Alexey Polikhovich, Artem Savelov and Yaroslav Belousov were sentenced to deprivation of liberty for terms of two and a half to four years, Alexander Naumov - to three years and three months in prison.

Currently, the court is considering the “case of four”: the accused by the same articles Ilya Gushchin, Alexei Gaskarov and Alexander Margolin are in custody, Elena Kokhtareva, who fully admitted his guilt, under the subscription about the lower room. The fifth accused, Dmitry Rukavishnikov, who was charged with only participation in the riots, was amnestied at the investigation.

Dmitry Altaychinov also fell under the amnesty (his name appeared in the “Swamp Delivee” only in December 2013, the new defendant pleaded guilty), who left Russia Anastasia Rybachenko, who were under the subscription of Fedor Bakhov, as well as three people who were not even on Swamp Square, but were under investigation for some time: Richard Sobolev, Oleg Arkhipenkov and Alexander and Alexander and Alexander Kamensky.

Separately considered the case of the organization of "riots". The defendants are held by Sergey Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozhaev (according to investigators, they were also preparing to organize mass uniforms in other regions). Previously, Konstantin Lebedev was already accused in this case: he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two and a half years in prison, and in April 2014 he was released by parole.

New searches and detention in the “Swamp case” took place this week: on May 26, in St. Petersburg, the charges on the second part of Article 212 were brought by Polina Strongina, on the same day she was released on a recognizance not to leave. On May 27, Dmitry Ishevsky was detained in Moscow: he is charged not only by participation in the riots, but also by the use of violence to a representative of the authorities. The court left him under arrest until July 27.
