Two powerful explosions thundered on Thursday on the Japanese Tanker "Seiko-Mara" in the Khimedzi port on the Pacific coast of the Honseyu's main island in the internal Japanese Sea, the website of The Daily Yomiuri reports. According to the coastal guard, seven of eight crew members were saved, four were injured, two of them have heavy burns. The captain of the vessel was missing.

The roar of the explosions was heard at a distance of several kilometers from the place of the incident. A column of black smoke rises above the tanker, it was seriously tilted, ITAR-TASS reports.

Three rescue vessels of the Japanese coastal guard are trying to extinguish the fire that arose on the tanker. In the office of Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a crisis headquarters was created in connection with the incident.
