The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine did not believe in Russia, which offered humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded with a refusal to proposal the Russian Foreign Ministry for humanitarian aid for residents of the oriental regions of the country. Moreover, in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, they were even outraged by such a proposal, saying that this is a propaganda move, and Russia itself is to blame for the fact that the conflict between the separatists and the Ukrainian military cannot end in any way.

The day before, a statement appeared on the website of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, which read: "The Russian side receives urgent appeals from citizens and organizations located in the conflict zone in the eastern regions of Ukraine, where, as a result of power actions, there are human victims and numerous victims with a request to provide urgent humanitarian aid, primarily medicines and medical drugs."

"The Russian side is ready to provide the population in the mentioned regions with the required assistance," the Russian diplomats noted, urging the Ukrainian side as soon as possible "take the necessary measures to ensure the urgent delivery of Russian humanitarian aid to the regions affected by the conflict."

However, the Ukrainian authorities did not believe in the humanitarian goals of Russia and suspected the desire to direct help to support the detachments of pro -Russian fighters.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s statement says: “Such a proposal is nothing more than the next element of propaganda, the purpose of which is, first of all, to the Russian consumer to the Russian consumer supposedly“ good intentions ”of the Kremlin, to take advantage of the difficult situation that the Russian side itself provoked in the eastern regions of Ukraine in its own narrow -political interests.”

“In practice, due to the actions of the Russian side in the east of our country, peace and stability still cannot recover,” Ukrainian diplomats are sure. "Russia does not demonstrate readiness to de -escalate the conflict and stabilize the situation. From the territory of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian -Russian state border is systematically violated by armed terrorist groups that kill, terrorize and intimidate Ukrainian citizens," the Foreign Ministry is indignant.

In this regard, the Ukrainian authorities do not exclude that humanitarian aid-"this is nothing more than a veiled attempt to help Russian terrorist mercenaries who are in a difficult situation today due to successful actions of the forces of the anti-terrorist operation."

The Ukrainian side has already given the official response of Russia about humanitarian assistance. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine sent a note in which Moscow proudly proposes to "focus on satisfying numerous requests for humanitarian aid from residents of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea annexed by Russia."

Note that in the Crimea there really is who to help. So, recently it has been said about the feed of food on the peninsula, and to solve this problem, the Russian authorities even tried to make a ban on the export of products outside the region. In addition, Crimea with fresh water is experiencing significant problems.
