Today, an agreement has been signed on the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union with the participation of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The country's leadership announced this event as the "central event of the year." After signing, Vladimir Putin even stated that "the signed agreement has truly epoch -making historical significance."
But today it became clear to everyone that the idea of the Putin team on a partial reconstruction of the USSR was not destined to come true. Persistent attempts to introduce non -economic aspects in the contract that could indicate elements of state integration were completely rejected by Kazakhstan. So, Kazakhstan does not want to integrate in matters of foreign policy, general citizenship, passport and visa sphere, borders, export control and in other areas. And the question of the introduction of Altyn was not even raised.
And Lukashenko, in turn, as always experienced "a certain dissatisfaction." But she, as always, was removed by the immediate confirmation of Russia guarantees to continue subsidizing its economic miracle at the expense of Russian citizens.
Thus, the epoch-making event turned out to be nothing more than the PR action of the Russian authorities, which, like the gas contract with China, was supposed to demonstrate to the world community that we, they say, will live well without the west.
