The elephant in the British park made a selfie, trying to eat iPhone

The African Elephant in the Safari Park of the British region West Midland made a selfie on the iPhone, which fell out of the hands of one of the visitors of the park.

“My friend and I went in a car through an aviary with elephants, and I took a picture of myself with one of the elephants several times. But when I turned around, I hit the phone on the car door and he fell on the grass,” said the 23-year-old visitor to Safari Park Scott Bryerli. Since the elephants went right behind the car, Scott did not venture to get out of the car and pick up the phone. "The elephant stopped at him, I think he took him for food," Brierli said.

After some time, Safari Park’s employees returned to Scott the device in which he found a picture of an elephant, leaning over a camera and extending his trunk to her. The author of the Selfie was a young elephant named Lataba, who, apparently, accidentally pressed a trunk on the phone key, RIA Novosti reports.

"Many dropped their phones in our park, but I have never seen anything like it. What kind of photograph! We are very proud of Latabe," says one of the guards of the park Andy Plamba.
