
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has published a rating of air carriers for 2013-2014, revealing the strengths and weaknesses of world airlines.
The most flying nation in Europe were Italians who occupy 15% of the total passenger flow of airlines in European directions. They are followed by the British, who are 12% of the passenger traffic. And the Russians were in third place. Moreover, citizens of the Russian Federation turned out to be the most “patriotic” - 72% of them use the services of domestic air carriers.
According to IATA, the Russian company Aeroflot was recognized as the best in European directions and retained first place in terms of quality service of business class passengers, also rising from the second to the first place in the economy class compared to last year, bypassing the German Lufthansa.
The Russian air carrier also ahead of competitors by the general impression of the service, according to the readiness of passengers to recommend it to their friends, by the convenience of seats and some other indicators. Among the advantages of the company, the number and quality of power on board were also indicated. According to IATA, Alitalia and Air France were the worst in this indicator.
The German Lufthansa turned out to be the leader in the rating on the knowledge of foreign languages by flight attendants and crew, who even speak Russian. Aeroflot took second place here. Air France got the last place - its crews speak exclusively in French.
The British AiWays airline took first place in terms of the availability of tickets for tickets on the site, in second place - Lufthansa. And the worst in this indicator is Finnair and Air France.
The most punctual among European airlines is not German Lufthansa, but by Alitalia.
As Lenta.ru notes, referring to the data of the closed rating of passenger airlines, Aeroflot looks very good against its European competitors, but the Airlines of Asian countries has yet lost. In this market, the leader is Japan Airlines (JAL). It is followed by Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Etihad.
