
Employees of the FSB of Russia in Crimea detained members of the Diversion and Terrorism Group of the Ukrainian Nationalist Movement "Right Sector", who planned terrorist attacks in the republic.
"The main goal of the criminal activity of the group was the commission of sabotage -terrorist acts in the cities of Simferopol, Yalta and Sevastopol, and subsequently destroying a number of life objects, railway bridges, power lines," the report said on the official website of the service.
It clarifies that four nationalists were detained in total - Sentsov O.G., Afanasyev O.G., Chirniy A.V. and Kolchenko A.A. A criminal case is investigated against them on the grounds of crimes under Part 2 of Art. 205 (terrorist act), part 2 of article 205.4 (organization of the terrorist community and participation in it), part 3 of Art. 222 (illegal turnover of weapons) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
