Freight One discussed interaction and optimization of transportation with shippers in the Omsk region

On May 30, the managers of the Novosibirsk branch of JSC Freight One held a meeting with shippers from the Omsk region on the issues of interaction and optimization of cargo transportation. The event was attended by representatives of the commercial unit of the branch, as well as customers and partners of the company.

Evgeniy Dolzhenko, Director of Freight One's Novosibirsk branch, presented to the meeting participants the results of the branch's activities in 2013, and spoke about the prospects for development in 2014. In particular, he noted that in the first quarter of 2014, the Novosibirsk branch of OAO Freight One transported 523,000 tons of oil cargo, a 41% increase in the same period in 2013. The share of Freight One branch in the total volume of transportation of oil products on the West Siberian Railway (ZSZhD) increased from 7.4% to 10%.

Evgeny Dolzhenko told shippers in the region about the possibility of concluding a service contract with Freight One, which would simplify the transportation procedure and make the interaction between the client and the operator more transparent. He stressed that the branch will continue to work to improve the quality of services provided, including in matters of interaction with the West Siberian Railway. First of all, this concerns the introduction of joint technologies with the road to optimize the logistics of car traffic, reduce empty runs, and organize traffic on fixed schedule threads. The implementation of these measures will lead to a reduction in the transport load on the cargo owner and will have a positive impact on the interaction of all participants in the transportation process in the region.

In addition, the director of Freight One's Novosibirsk branch noted that Freight One has begun implementing an IT strategy that will improve the efficiency of Freight One's main operating units and simplify the company's customer service procedures and business processes.

Annual events for the branch's clients, which Freight One holds in five cities of the West Siberian region, allow the company to make the discussion of shippers' problems more detailed, dwell on individual issues of transportation of a particular cargo and discuss regional specifics of transportation.
