The presidential elections in Ukraine showed what eyewitnesses have been repeated for a long time. Namely: National Chauinists in this country make up a marginal minority (2 %). People in the east, and in the west, and in the south of Ukraine want a normal, calm life, so they vote for those who, in their opinion, can give such a life. There is no general negative attitude towards our country. The presence of significant business interests in Russia did not interfere with voters, including Western Ukraine, to give their votes for him.

I now have many acquaintances in both Donetsk and Kyiv. These are Russian and Ukrainian guys of different ages. Many studied and lived in Russia. People who could go to more prosperous places and countries. But they love their Ukraine, they want to build a normal life there and will not allow anyone to stop them.

My friends and I sat in the Kyiv cafes from Moscow, spoke Russian, like many other visitors. We risky, inadvertently joked, as used to, and together with the Kyivians laughed at jokes.

I was in Kharkov and Donetsk, met with people both on the streets and at official events. Everywhere there are ordinary, normal people who do not want any separation from Ukraine, no accession to Russia, especially in its current Putin's hypostasis.

Yes, in Ukraine they really do not like Putin, as a man who brought war and misfortune to their house. And to those citizens of Russia, who, shed by propaganda, today do not notice the obvious analogies (both political, social, and military) between Donetsk and the North Caucasus, Ukrainians are pity and understanding. After all, such - imposed - blindness looks really not even funny, but stupid and sorry.

I saw those who took the weapon. This is the usual "criminal international." Those who consider it necessary to “take away and divide”, and not work and earn. Although, probably, as always in such situations, among them there are ordinary, deceived people. They are sorry.

Do we want to support criminal gopot? We are not tired of their smug mansion of the winners in our cities? In Moscow, in Rostov, in Stavropol? We want to help kill our fellow students, classmates yesterday? For what?

Why are we silent when all understandable forces supply our weapons to the bandits? Why do we give Yanukovych, hiding from the international court in our territory, pay for mercenaries? Why allow our bandits to hone their skill of killers on their neighbors? They will return. And then we will pay our blood for today's delight of impunity.

Our bandits from Ukraine, I hope, will be embroidered. Soon and cruel. Their own - they will calm down or imprison. And they will build a normal life. And we will go there and envy. We will regret us, pour Ukrainian borsch and, having gotten a harass, listen to our misfortunes.
