Dinze: FSB tortured director Sentsov

The Ukrainian film director Oleg Sentsov, abducted in Crimea and falsely accused of terrorism, FSB subjected to beatings and other torture in order to force the necessary testimonies. According to RBC, this was stated by the lawyer of the politicalese Dmitry Dinze. It was the intention to wait until the traces of the beatings come down, the lawyer explained the fact that he was not allowed to be client for two weeks. The security forces themselves referred to the fact that Sentsov was still being transferred.

On Wednesday, Dinze filed an application with a request to initiate a case against the facts of bodily harm and exceeding official powers against the facts of FSB officers. As stated in the document, Sentsov was tortured in the Office of the FSB in the occupied Simferopol on May 10. Dinze was the first to announce that the director was abducted on May 10 - earlier all sources wrote that he was captured a day later.

“He was wearing a plastic bag, which was strangled to a fainting state, he was threatened with rape and murder, while forced to confess to the organization of explosions, arson of offices, storage of weapons and explosives,” the lawyer wrote in his statement. Dinze noted that in IVS and pre -trial detention centers, Sentsov recorded bruises on their backs, buttocks and other parts of the body. In his appeal in the Investigative Committee, he demanded to request the relevant documents from these institutions.

As Dilyar Tasbulatov, a member of the Moscow PMC, told the publication, who visited Sentsov on May 29 in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center, the director did not complain about the appeal, but noticed that "he was bad in Simferopol, scary." At the same time, Tasbulatova added that the conversation was conducted in the presence of two FSIN employees. Three other defendants in the case - the left activist Alexander Kolchenko, lawyer Gennady Afanasyev and military historian Alexei Chirniy - also did not complain about the conditions, but confirmed that they were ill in Simferopol. According to Tasbulatova, the administration of the pre -trial detention center "made them a stick so that they would not say anything."

Meanwhile, another member of the PMC, also attending prisoners, - Zoya Svetova, said that for the first time in her practice, observers were demanded of non -disclosure of the content of conversations. She noticed that such a subscription is excess, since the non -disclosure by members of the PMC of the investigation data is provided for by the law on public control.

The official representative of the Federal Penitentiary Service Kristina Belousova refuted any pressure on the political prisoners. Prisoners "can complain about everything," including the PMC members, she said. Regarding the subscription about the non -disclosure of Belousov, she noted: "Our employees have no right to ask."

On May 30, the FSB stated that Sentsov, Kolchenko, Afanasyev and Chirny belong to the diversion -terrorist group of the "Right Sector" , which allegedly prepared terrorist attacks in Simferopol, Yalta and Sevastopol, and later - "the destruction of a number of life, railway bridges, and power lines." The suspects planned on the night of May 9 to blow up home -made bombs at the Eternal Flame Memorial and the monument to Lenin in Simferopol, as well as prepared to set fire to the offices of the Russian Community of Crimea and the headquarters of United Russia in Simferopol on April 18.

The FSB announced the intention in the near future to bring the charges in paragraph 2 of Article 205 (terrorist act), part 2 of Article 205.4 (participation in the terrorist community) and part 3 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal weapon turnover). For the first of these crimes, up to 20 years of the colony is provided, for the second - up to 10 years, for the third - up to 8.

Later on the same day, Channel One published fragments of operational filming of the FSB, on which Afanasyev and Chirny give confessions. At the same time, Afanasyev in his testimony directly called Sentsov the organizer of sabotage, which are charged with stolen.

On Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine demanded that the Russian authorities organize a meeting with Sentsov and other defendants in the case. As noted in the note handed by the temporary attorney in Russia's affairs in Ukraine Andrei Vorobyov, Ukrainian diplomats still could not meet with the arrested. Thus, the Foreign Ministry emphasized, Moscow violated the provisions of the Russian-Ukrainian consular convention.
