The legal regime of a counter -terrorism operation introduced on a part of the territory of the Kizlyar region is distributed throughout the region, Interfax reports with reference to the representative of the operational headquarters.

According to the operatives, operational-search measures are currently being held throughout the district to identify and neutralize the participants of the gang underground and their accomplices.

"On the night of June 4, the operational headquarters in the Republic of Dagestan in the Kizlyar region held planned measures to identify and suppress the activities of members of the gang underground and their accomplices. In the course of fire contact, one of them was neutralized," the NAK said in a statement. According to the committee, the murdered person was an active member of the so-called Kizilyurt sabotage group and was on the federal wanted list. At the scene, four assault rifles, two grenade launchers and ammunition were discovered.
