Fired by Naum Kleiman

By order of the Ministry of Culture, from June 30, Naum Kleiman will stop taking the position of director of the State Central Museum of Cinema.

Colta.ru has the text of a government telegram in the name of Kleiman signed by the First Deputy Minister of Culture Vladimir Aristarkhov.

In it, the Ministry of Culture notifies the director of the Museum of the Cinema that the employment contract concluded with him in May last year, on June 30, 2014 "will be terminated due to the expiration of its validity."

Kinoved, a film historian, author of numerous articles on the theory and history of cinema art, one of the largest specialists in the work of Sergei Eisenstein Num Kleiman (b. 1937) headed the cinema museum since 1992.
