Mokmff loses the participants

Publishers and cultural figures in protest against censorship refuse to participate in the Moscow International Open Book Festival (Mokmokf)

After the COLTA.RU program was canceled at the request of the Ministry of Culture, the international historical-educational, human rights and charitable society Memorial reported that she did not consider it permissible to violate the constitutional norm of censorship, removes its program from the festival and transfers it to other sites.

The Enlightener , New Literary Review (UFO) , Corpus Publishing House, Marat Gelman, Linor Goralik , the Polish Cultural Center, the New Publishing House , Kolonna Publications / Mitin magazine, Lev Rubinstein , Arthur Solomonov and Mikhail Kaluzhsky , refused to participate in Mokmokf.

Criticism of the actions of the Ministry of Culture was made by the directors, writers and publicists, the editors of the Publishing House "Komapasgid" called what was happening unacceptable and called "all the participants and guests of the festival as soon as possible to express their position and support our colleagues."
