"Augered reality and computer visualization technologies in the city"

The lecture by Arturo Castro will be devoted to augmented reality and computer visualization technologies in the city.

Arturo Castro is a Berlin artist, teacher and engineer. It is one of the main developers of the OpenFrameworks open code, created for artists and designers. Currently, he works mainly for himself, and also takes part in the development of projects in the field of interactive installations. The main interests of Arturo are associated with the culture of open source code in the context of art practices and technical literacy. His works were presented in such museums and galleries as Maison d'Ailleurs in Switzerland, London Design Museum and Moscow Multimedia Art Museum.

The lecture is part of the Polytechnic Strelka program - a joint educational project of the Polytechnic Museum and the Strelka Institute, organized with the support of MegaFon. All programs of the program are aimed at the popularization of science, as well as at the search for new areas of interaction between science and art. Invited artists, photographers, scientists and engineers will present new forms of art in the era of digital technology.
