The solution comes depending on the required set of tools: sometimes just a text editor is enough, sometimes the user needs an analogue of Microsoft Word, someone prefers to stay in their native ecosystem, and the choice becomes obvious.

The Documents program, which I would like to talk about, unfortunately, is not suitable for editing: you won’t be able to write or correct anything in it. However, it should not be discounted. She can easily fulfill the role of a file manager. But first, I’ll tell you how to find it, because when you query Documents, the App Store search engine will return a large number of applications that are similar in name and meaning.

The easiest way to navigate is the icon, which depicts a flat black letter “D” slightly bent from the upper left edge, located on a white background. After installing the application itself, it would be logical to log into all cloud service and file sharing accounts available to the user. In the Documents arsenal you can find Dropbox, Google Drive, Yandex.Disk, less known in Russia, but popular abroad, Box, OneDrive. The latter, by the way, is not the only Microsoft product that is supported by the application. There is also access to Windows SMB and Office 360 P SharePoint accounts. It is possible to connect to FTP and SFTP servers.

As a result, between all these services the user is able to exchange files, and we are not just talking about text documents, tables or presentations: you can work with audio, photo and video materials. As pleasant little things, I would like to note the application’s own Internet browser, the possibility of background loading and color tags, which, albeit a little, make it easier to work with a large number of files.
