
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Moz) reported on the number of those who died during the armed conflict in the Donetsk region. This was reported by Donbass News.
According to the agency, which refers to regional emergency medical services, 220 people were killed during the confrontation, of which two children under the age of 18 were killed.
More than 1,200 people turned to medical assistance during military operations. There are 150 people in stationary treatment, among them one child is 14 years old.
The power confrontation in the Donetsk region has lasted since mid -April 2014. The Ukrainian military is trying to free a number of settlements from the armed people who have captured them, who call themselves supporters of the self -proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic or the "People’s militia of the Donbass." The militias of Russia Igor Strelkov (Girkin) are led by the militias. The main center of resistance of the DPR is Slavyansk. Earlier, official data on the number of those killed and injured in the southeast of Ukraine were not called. As a rule, the reports relate to individual clashes, and the information from the Ukrainian security forces and separatists varies. So, for example, the press secretary of the headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation, Vladislav Seleznev on June 3, stated that the Ukrainian military managed to destroy up to 300 armed supporters of the DPR.
