Putin presented state aids on Russia Day

President Vladimir Putin traditionally presented state aids for outstanding achievements in science and technology, literature and art, as well as humanitarian activities on Russia Day. It is reported by RIA Novosti . In addition, the president holds a solemn reception on the occasion of the holiday.

Among the awarded was the director of the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Historical Sciences Alexander Chubaryan, who received the award for outstanding achievements in the field of science and technology, literature and art, as well as humanitarian activities. Academician Anatoly Grigoryev, musician and conductor Yuri Bashmet, writer Fazil Iskander, creators of the film “Legend No. 17”, and Evgeny Primakov, also became the owners of the state units and biology.

Physicist and mathematician Viktor Maslov, who also had to receive a bonus, was not present at the award due to health reasons.

The solemn reception of the president takes place on the Ivanovo Square of the Kremlin.
