Kim Jong -un congratulated Putin on Russia's Day

The DPRK leader Kim Jong -un congratulated President Vladimir Putin on the day of Russia and noted the successes of Moscow in the areas of economics and security, KCNA reports the North Korean news agency.

“The Russian people, led by the president, have achieved a lot in ensuring national security and stability, as well as in economic modernization and strengthening of national defense capabilities,” the agency quoted the circulation of Kim Jong -un.

The head of the DPRK expressed that the long -standing relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Russia are expanding and developing in the interests of both peoples, and recently signed joint documents will make these relations even stronger. “Taking this opportunity, I wish you success in your work to protect the dignity and interests of Russia and build strong Russia,” he concluded.
