The authorities of the Dnipropetrovsk region sent to the administration of the President of Ukraine a project to create a fortified wall along the border with Russia with a length of 1920 kilometers. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the deputy head of the regional regional state administration of Svyatoslav Oleinik.
“This project is the proposal of the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration Igor Kolomoisky. In six months, this project can be carried out, ”Oleinik said.
This project involves the installation of a two -thousand -high -end continuous metal fence with barbed wire, along which an electric current will pass. This building will close the areas of the state border, which run on the territory of the Donetsk Kharkov and Lugansk regions.
To prevent unauthorized access to this fence along it, wide ditches will be dug. Also, the border zone will be mined by signal and anti -personnel mines.
The cost of this project is about one hundred million euros. Part of the costs of its implementation should be covered at the expense of “charitable foundations”.
According to Oleinik, another plus of this idea should be that this project will completely rely on Ukrainian industry.
