Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko hopes that hostilities in the east of the country will stop this week, Interfax reports .
“It is proposed to discuss the details of the president's peace plan, which should be proposed as early as this week. In addition, in accordance with the decisions that the National Security and Defense Council will take today, a ceasefire will be proposed as the beginning of the implementation of the president's peace plan," Poroshenko was quoted by the agency as saying.
