Former deputy head of the anti -corruption department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs committed suicide

Former deputy head of the Main Directorate of Economic Security and Countering of Corruption (GUEBIPK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major General Boris Kolesnikov committed suicide. About this with reference to the lawyer Kolesnikov Georgy Antonov reports "Interfax."

The official representative of the IC Vladimir Markin explained that Kolesnikov committed suicide, having taken off his toilet.

“At the same time, in accordance with the instructions, handcuffs were removed from it. Suddenly running out of the toilet and knocking a police officer from the feet, and then the second convoy, who was in the corridor, Kolesnikov jumped out onto the balcony and jumped down from the 6th floor. As a result of injuries, he died, ”said Markin.

He added that the investigating authorities will conduct an audit on the fact of what happened. At the same time, Markin noted that Kolesnikov had previously twice attempts to suicide. Why, in this case, the under investigation did not establish additional observation, the representative of the UK did not explain.

Previously, Kolesnikov repeatedly received injuries in a pre -trial detention center, first in Lefortovo, and then in Sailor Silence. The general himself stated that he fell in the cell, hitting the back of his head. The investigation did not report that he considers these cases as suicide attempts.

Kolesnikov was one of the defendants in the case of organizing a criminal community, abuse of authority and provocation of a bribe. The defendants in the case are also the former head of the Guinetenant General Denis Sugrobov. According to investigators, they tried to persuade the snowdrifts with subordinates to receive a bribe by a senior FSB officer.
