Navalny asked the Communist Party and Yabloko to help opposition candidates

The founder of the Party of Progress Alexei Navalny asked the leadership of the Communist Party of the Communist Party and Yabloko to include in the lists in the elections to the Moscow City Duma Konstantin Yankauskas and Nikolai Lyaskin. The appeal is placed on the Navalny blog.

“Dear Gennady Zyuganov, Sergey Mitrokhin and their supporters. <...> I would not ask you about this if it were not for the obviously illegal actions of the authorities that impede the nomination of some candidates through the fabrication of criminal cases, ”Navalny said.

The opposition recalled that “both parties announced the desire to put forward not a narrow -party list, but coalition”, and unlike the Party of Progress and other opposition parties, they have the opportunity to nominate candidates without collecting signatures.

According to Navalny, Yankauskas will not be able to organize a collection of signatures in favor of his candidacy because of his house arrest assigned to him. Navalny also asked to consider the issue of the inclusion of Lyaskin, which is under the subscription of the lower room, and “other strong independent candidates” in the lists of Lyaskin.

“None of them claims the“ best districts ”, they all conduct complex painstaking work in those areas where the victory will only get a high price. I am sure that such actions of your parties will be perceived by Muscovites and the asset of other opposition parties as true, ”wrote Navalny.

On June 10, the Yabloko regional council refused to nominate most independent candidates to the Moscow City Duma, including Maxim Katz, Vera Kichanova, Alexander Vinokurov, Maria Gaidar and Olga Romanova. Yankauskas and Lyaskin from Yabloko did not try to advance because of the complex relations between the party and the headquarters of Navalny.

On June 11, three supporters of Navalny - Vladimir Ashurkov, Konstantin Yankauskas and Nikolai Lyaskin - were charged under the article “Fraud”. The investigation believes that they appropriated part of the funds that were going to the Navalny campaign. At the same time, as reported on the morning of June 16 , there are no victims in the case.
