Stalin, Beria, Andropov. They are returning

A year ago, on the 60th anniversary of the death of the father of peoples, journalist Vladimir Chernyshev made a cycle of documentaries under the general name “Stalin with us”. On the air of the NTV channel, he was shown closer to night and after midnight. The calculation, apparently, was an amateur. Therefore, a year ago, TVNACHITY could not vouch for the love of a mass audience for Stalinist mythology.

A year ago, the city of Volgograd could not hope that he would regain the previous name - Stalingrad. One day he was allowed to walk in this rank - and please.

Today in a different way.

And after all, the waters for a dozen and a half months did not flow so much, and revenge moods in Russian society were leaped with terrible force. We live under the flag “returned the Crimea, we will return and ...” (lustful to enter). People enter: Stalingrad, Leningrad, Ukraine, Alaska, old trough, a monument to Dzerzhinsky, an innovative gulag. And so that America was on the parcels.

Judging by the television repertoire, the people are no longer opposed and the KGB with its first faces. Two of them were just represented to us in a new light.

First, we saw on the air a documentary-stiring on the untimely loss of one general commissar of state security-“Lavrenty Beria. Liquidation ”(First, June 8). Following the triple "Hurray" to the other chapter of the same department - "Yuri Andropov. Terra Incognita ”(“ Russia-1 ”, June 13),“ Andropov. Between Dzerzhinsky and Don Quixote ”(NTV, June 14) and Yuri Andropov. “Truth, which is not worse” (Channel One, June 15).

In order to somehow rehabilitate these steering repressive cars, it took work to launder blood and just dark spots on their pure Chekist hands.

With their chief, Comrade Stalin, as we recall, Vladimir Chernyshev figured out a year ago. He is not the first - but he dared to some innovation. His predecessors, erudites such as Anatoly Wasserman and writers like Alexander Prokhanov, tried to damage the number of souls ruined by the hero. Like, not millions are destroyed, but several hundred thousand. Others stood on the fact that there were no repressions, it was all - coupled with conversations about torture in the Lubyansky basements - fiction of external and internal enemies of Soviet power. Chernyshev did not begin to deny the repressions themselves, what was, then it was. But, firstly, what does Stalin have to do with it? The historian, extracted from the dusty past, Yuri Zhukov in the film reported that Stalin in 1937 wanted to hold elections to the party organs from top to bottom on an alternative basis, but the communists in the field sharply opposed this. I had to combine democracy with a hopeless sentences and death executions on a non -alternative basis. But whether these sentences and executions were unfair, the author of the film was asked by the question. And he pulled out the protocols of the interrogations of the arrested “enemies of the people” from the sleeve, where they, under torture, were sincerely admitted to kill Stalin and his closest associates in their plans. The confessions of those who drank the Gulag and survived even more impressive in the film: they are not offended by their tormentor. What, in fact, is offended by the victims if the cemetery, where they are buried, will become the cosmodrome from which our spacecraft starts to Mars? In this spirit, the last soldier of the Soviet Empire loves to speak out the writer Alexander Prokhanov.

It seems that the people are the inspirer and organizer of all our victories today morally and emotionally not only amnesty, but also rehabilitated. And moreover, called for new achievements.

Suppose, not himself, but his shadow. And not in order to direct us directly - but to direct, inspire and illuminate the path to us. And our sacrificial exploits to sanctify.

And next to the shadow of the father of the peoples, the shadows of two powerful Chekists who needed an objective assessment of their historical role grew.

It's time to rehabilitate Beria.

To begin with, Sergey Medvedev in his documentary opus “Lavrenty Beria. Liquidation ”published some details of eliminating the prominent figure of the Soviet state from the political arena. It turned out that during it, egregious violations of the norms of socialist legality were committed. That he was shot without trial and investigation. That he was charged with retroactively espionage activities. What an exceptional incident.

Previously, rumors walked, and here it became known for certain that Yuri Vladimirovich by nationality Jew.

Further - more. The villain Beria was not as sexy maniac as the Soviet people were assured in this. Further - even cooler. He was an excellent family man: a caring father, a loving husband, a generous lover.

And yet-this is not the main thing. The main thing is that, having come to the Lubyanka, he released someone out of the camps. And after the leader of the leader, he still released someone from those whom he had managed to plant before, but did not manage to rot. Such an effective technology on the way to the top of the authorities with the aim of its subsequent retention.

Well, the most rehabilitating circumstance: Beria planned to seriously reform the Soviet system, and Khrushchev stole the idea from him and slandered him. And he, Beria, could become a major Soviet reformer. And then the reformer Dan Xiaopin would be called Chinese Beria. And the conclusion suggested: not the execution of Khrushchev Beria, we would live today in another country.

We have such a country - that neither the head of the special services, so immediately the reformer. So Yuri Vladimirovich Andropov also claimed this role, which, in fact, told all three documentary films dedicated to him. The authors are sorting out the same motives, creating the myth of a new type of sovereign. Survey, ascetic, democratic, wrote poems. Here, for example:

The task of documentary myth-making was not to whiten something in his biography-he was by Soviet standards a vegetarian: over the 15 years of his state security management, only 1905 dissidents were brought to political motives, as one of Andropov’s subordinates calculated. He was merciful to Yuri Lyubimov and made efforts so that Solzhenitsyn would not be imprisoned. The problem with the biography of this Chekist was not in dark, but in white spots. Previously, rumors walked, and here it became known for certain that Yuri Vladimirovich by nationality Jew. In Soviet times, this fact did not serve in the decoration of the party apparatus. Because he was thoroughly hidden. Today you can talk about this openly. This is no longer a minus, but it seems like a plus. A Jew means a ward of a ward, which the leader of the state is necessary. He put things in order in the KGB - it means that he would have brought in the country. Yes, my health has failed. Otherwise, now we had another country.

Not only health brought our security officials. The misunderstanding of the fact that the Soviet system was non -viable. As Gennady Khazanov rightly remarked in the film by Sergei Medvedev, their reforms - like Penicillin’s injection in a wooden leg. And Andropov, if he had enough health, he would treat the antibiotic injections of antibiotics that had become an obsessed with the Soviet system. That is, again by repression.

Today, the television summer treats us with new myths in the old way - about Great Stalin, about the good Beria, about the wonderful Andropov, through the image of which the figure of the new trustee of the sick Russia - Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin appears.

The current leader needs reliable mythological grounds. They are laid by television. Stalin is like a pedestal (as Lenin was for Stalin). Beria - as a memory of fear at the genetic level. Andropov - as a prototype of the great Putin.

Positive Vyshinsky is also required as a prototype of Dmitry Kiselev. Like Galich: "They would, gypsum, human - they will gain greatness again."
