They made a bomb for the terrorist attack using online instructions.

The Moscow Regional Court has begun interrogating witnesses in the case of two natives of Central Asia accused of organizing an extremist community and preparing a terrorist attack in a supermarket of the Auchan retail chain in 2012, located in the Altufyevo district of Moscow. Witnesses already questioned told the court that the defendants were adherents of “non-traditional Islam.”

In the dock of the regional court were a native of Tajikistan, Murad Magamedov, and a native of Turkmenistan, Feruz Nazarov. As follows from the indictment, in the fall of 2010, Magamedov joined an illegal armed gang in Derbent (Dagestan), where he mainly participated in attacks on border posts.

In April 2012, according to the investigation, the defendant Magamedov moved to Moscow, where he got a job as a merchandiser at the Auchan supermarket, located in the Altufyevo district. Being an adherent of Wahhabism, he, according to investigators, decided to create a terrorist cell in Moscow to fight the “infidels” and “modern orders.”

At the same time, the case says, he involved several people in a criminal group, and the “activists” who were ready to commit a crime, according to the FSB investigative department, were Murad Magamedov and Feruz Nazarov. In the fall of 2012, according to investigators, they decided to carry out a terrorist attack in Auchan. They found the necessary instructions for amateur bombers, as stated in the case, on “thematic sites.” And already in October 2012, the first bomb was assembled. They decided to test it in the forest not far from Auchan. The experiment ended successfully, after which the attackers assembled a second explosive device intended to explode in a supermarket. However, the accused did not suspect that they were already being watched by FSB officers. In November 2012, literally on the eve of the planned terrorist attack, security officers detained both. The Investigation Department of the FSB of Russia charged them under Art. 205 (terrorist act), art. 223 (illegal production of an explosive device), Art. 208 (organization of an illegal armed group), Art. 222 (illegal trafficking in explosives), Art. 228 (illegal trafficking in psychotropic substances), art. 282.1 (organization of an extremist community) and Art. 280 (public calls for extremist activities) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. None of the accused admits their guilt.

At the beginning of 2014, the investigation was completed, and the case was sent to the Moscow Regional Court (the defendants lived in Lobnya, near Moscow). After the indictment was announced, five witnesses were already questioned in court. Most of them confirmed that the defendants were supporters of Wahhabism.
