On the occasion of the year of culture, posters appeared on Moscow streets, in which the paintings of famous artists were “encrypted”, the portal “Culture of Moscow” reports.
The slogan of the series - "Culture Changes us." “The main idea is to solve five different tasks at once in one result, just what we love.” The creator of the posters, the famous designer Artemy Lebedev told the portal. “On the one hand, there is no clear and unequivocal message, there is a desire to tell that culture is needed and its support is not immense. On the other hand, there is an external advertising genre that practically discredited in our latitudes. We need to make mock -ups, for the mock. which will not be just not ashamed, but which will also have an effect on the brain of the viewer. "
Among the authors of works of art “encrypted” in the posters of the series, culture changes us, ”artists Pete Mondrian, Juan Gris and Casimir Malevich, sculptors Miron and Auguste Roden, architect Konstantin Melnikov.
“At some point, the viewer will go to the museum not because they will write to him“ go to the museum on the advertising shield, ”but because he will feel the need. This is a very subtle moment. We must look for the language that you can speak with the viewer. Because people want to speak with them and to be convinced,” Lebedev is sure.
