Russian graduates ended in the exam and GIA. This year they were carried out as transparent as possible, as a result, the minimum threshold in the main subjects was reduced, more than a thousand schoolchildren were removed from the exams, and social studies were again the most popular subject. And 9-graders may have a chance to take exams all summer.
From May 26 to June 11, the main period of unified state exams for school graduates took place, today and tomorrow there will be reserve exams in two main disciplines, the Russian language and mathematics. In July, an additional period will have to be intended for those who, for various reasons, could not come to the exam on the right day.
A similar schedule has still operated on nine -graders who also pass final exams - state final certification (GIA). Their exams began at the end of May, and the last, additional period, ended already in mid -June. According to the Izvestia newspaper, the Ministry of Education and Science decided to revise the time frame of the GIA. The department plan to significantly expand them, adding another additional period from July 7 to August 16. Thus, the GIA examination process will be delayed for almost three months. According to the publication, the corresponding order is being prepared, but it is assumed that the Minister of Education Dmitry Livanov will sign it soon, so that there is an opportunity to introduce new norms this year.
This measure is connected with the new practice of repeated passing of state exams: schoolchildren who failed to pass the subject the first time will receive the right to retake it up to three times. True, this will become possible only since 2016. In an interview with Izvestia, Dmitry Livanov explained this decision by the desire to unload the inspectors and passing and reducing the psychological burden on schoolchildren.
The next innovation regarding final exams was commented on in the press service of the ministry: “The changes so far concern only the state final certification in the 9th grade, so that the students have the opportunity to normally pass exams and protect themselves from the danger of staying in the second year.” It is also reported that the new scheme is not yet planned to be used in relation to eleventh graders, since the USE schedule is associated with the reception campaign in universities.
This year, the USE took place by supervision of not only observers, but all those who wanted: Rostelecom on the site Smotriege.ru broadcast a video from the points of receiving a single state examination from all over the country. Some of these points are equipped with video camera that broadcast in real time and at the same time record the exam. Internet observers had the opportunity not only to monitor the purity of the exam, but also to report the identified violations through a special online form.
The eleventh graders have only two binding on the subject, this is Russian language and mathematics, the rest of the disciplines could be taken to their choice, guided by where they want to go further. Depending on the profile of the university for receipt, the results of the exam are required in different subjects. But in early June, the Director General of the Rostekhnologi State Corporation and the head of the Machine -Builder Union Sergei Chemezov, the President of the Association of the League of the Defense Enterprises, State Duma deputy Vladimir Gutenev, the General Secretary of the Russian Union of rector Olga Kashirina, and the Rector of the MGTU named after Bauman Anatoly Alexandrov and a member of the Public Chamber, academician Evgeny Velikhov. In a letter to Vladimir Putin, they asked to support the proposal to include physics in the list of mandatory objects for the delivery of a single state examination, Izvestia reports .
The authors of the letter motivated their request by the gradual growth of the popularity of technical specialties among young people. Despite the fact that there really is such a trend, social studies became the most popular subject of choice for schoolchildren. This year it was chosen by 58% of the total number of graduates. The results of the USE in social studies are necessary for admission to such specialties as, for example, jurisprudence, management, government, as well as economic and pedagogical areas.
The main two exams were required to pass all issues. After checking work in both disciplines, minimum thresholds of passing points were reduced. So, the minimum assessment of the Russian language could be obtained by scoring at least 24 points, and not 36, as was previously established. At first, the same threshold, 24 points, was for an exam in mathematics, but after summing up the results, it was also reduced - from 24 to 20. Thus, having scored 20 points out of 100, the graduate will receive a three on this subject.
According to the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov, a decrease in the minimum requirements in subjects is associated with an increase in the transparency of the exam. “The exam this year was as honest as possible. When we held the exam, we saw that many guys would not overcome the minimum threshold, ”Kravtsov believes. The high lower bar of the exam would lead to an increase in the number of graduates who would not receive a certificate.
Sitting the requirements can also be associated with the concern of the ministry for the mental state of schoolchildren. At the very beginning of the main period of the exam, after an unsuccessful surrender, the Volgograd schoolboy committed suicide, hanging himself not far from the village. It is noted that the boy lived in a full family and was not registered with the police.
The transparency of the exams this year led to the fact that the number of hundred -bells in mathematics decreased sharply compared to last year. “The exam in mathematics wrote 64 people for 100 points, while in 2013 there were 536 of them,” the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science said . After checking the work in the Russian language, it became known that this year the graduates wrote the exam also worse than in the past: the average result fell by 1.5 points, from 64 to 62.5.
The work of graduates who dared to use cheat sheets and were convicted of this, were canceled. Such a measure was used both for the use of paper cheat sheets and for mobile phones. For the entire main period of the exam for violations, more than a thousand schoolchildren were removed during the exams. On May 29, 320 people were removed from the exam in the Russian language, which amounted to 0.4% of those who passed this exam, with the exam in foreign languages and physics on June 2 - 139 people, or 0.05%, and from the mathematics exam on June 5 - 275, or 0.04% of the participants, these data were published by Rosobrnadzor. Thus, the share of those who write off on objects at the choice turned out to be more than those who were cheating on mandatory exam.
