
Today, June 19, on the website of the Russian National Television Award TEFI published lists of finalists of the 2014 season.
They were determined according to the results of the secret closed vote of the jury in the categories "Daytime" and "Evening Prime". The finalists, in particular, were the leading information programs Vadim Takmenev (NTV), Dmitry Borisov (Channel One) and Dmitry Kiselev (Russia-1), the evening talk shows “Let them talk” (Channel One), “Temporarily available” (TV Center) and “Sunday evening with Vladimir Solovyov” (Russia-1).
The short list included the television series “Thaw” (Channel One), “Interns” (TNT) and “Demons” (Russia-1). The “thaw” also claims to be TEFI in the “Event of the Television season” nomination, in which the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi (Channel One) and a series of information plots, special reports, documentaries, special projects dedicated to the crisis in Ukraine (Russia-24) compete with it.

The award ceremony will be held in two stages: the awarding of the winners in the category of the “day broadcast” will be held on June 26, in the category “evening prime” category - June 27.
The TEFI-2014 competition was the first after the break caused by the need to develop a new regulation and the rules for its implementation. To participate in it, work was accepted, performed and first aired on the territory of Russia from May 1, 2013 to May 1, 2014. In total, about 500 works were received for consideration of the jury.
