
The Association "Agora" and the human rights center "Memorial" received presidential grants for their activities. This was reported by RBC following the results of competitions held by six out of seven operators distributing funds. The official results of the competitions will be announced on Friday.
Among the other NPOs who won grants are the Voice movement, the Public Verdict Foundation, the Moscow Helsinki group, as well as the Women Don Union, previously included in June included by the Ministry of Justice in the list of “foreign agents” .
In addition, the funds are allocated to two largest sociological organizations - the VTCIA and the Levada Center.
Also, among the recipients of grants - two projects of the licentious movement "Our" - "Stopham" and "Piggy against", the first of which declares the struggle with rudeness on the roads, and the second - with poor -quality service in stores. "Stopham" received 6 million rubles. “Khryusha against” requested 5 million, but whether their application was in full, it is still unknown.
A grant in the amount of 9 million rubles received the Podputin biker club "Night Wolves".
The total fund of presidential grants in 2014 is 2.698 billion rubles. Until November 3, the second round of the distribution of funds should be held.
