
The transport prosecutor’s office did not find evidence confirming that the State Duma deputy from United Russia Alexander Khinshtein made a drunken brawl on an airplane. According to Interfax, the speaker of the lower house Sergey Naryshkin stated this with reference to the letter from the Prosecutor General’s Office he received the day before.
“The flight attendants, passengers, witnesses were interviewed,” said Naryshkin. “According to the results of the prosecutor’s audit of any administrative offenses, and even more so violations of criminal law (Khinshtein. - Ed.) .”
