© Anton YakhontovOn June 26, the Platform project in the Center for Contemporary Art “Vincuvod” in Moscow will present the audiovisual view “Threevoices”, based on the music of the American Minimalist Morton Feldman.
“Threevoices” can not only be heard in the interceptive vocal group, the organizers report, it can be felt and seen in a “pulsating drawn room” created by the media artist Anton Yakhontov ( Patrick K.-H. ).
Due to the high complexity of the work of Morton Feldman, today there is only one of his records made by three soloists- AccroChenoteensemble (France). Three soloists - Olga Vlasova, Alexander Mikheev and Nadiyazelianova will also perform on the “platform” “Threevoices” .
Feldman created “Threevoices” , heavily experiencing the death of two close friends - the artist Philip Gaston and the poet Frank O'Hara. Without the current technical means, the composer wrote their votes on the film and put on his own lively voice. The composer broadcast the voices of friends from two reproductors, personifying them and as if again communicating with people who have departed.
In the score, Feldman specified that music can be performed both by three vocalists at once and a soloist who sings only the lower voice on the background of the other two, sounding in the record.
