This is a matter of a tough sports nature, which the Russians did not have at the right time.

But, dear fans of the Russian team, but what did you expect from the Fabio Capello team ? At the level of prefabricated, he had never previously achieved high results, working before Russia with the England team. At the club level, he trained excellent clubs - Juventus, Roma, Real Madrid, Milan. He won the championships of Italy and Spain with different teams. Won the Champions League. But here is an insidious detail: very often the Capello teams were sharply criticized for the game that this coach put them looked incredibly boring. How all Italy cursed when Capello's clubs, winning Skudetto, regularly completed matches with a score of 1: 0. It is not even so important what exactly - skill, tactical training, determination, athletism, and dedication. Any fan can continue this simple row or list a series of matches from the recent past, where football Russia was inferior when, it would seem, there was literally a couple of steps before success.

Well, the defense of the Russian national team is a separate song, as they say. So in the match with Belgium, the defenders first missed the Azar passage on the left flank, and then in the center they left a completely free Origa, who was on the goal of Akinfeev with almost no interference. It could be assumed that in the next game, Capello would draw some conclusions-at least about Dzagoev, which so far remains the only, as they say, a creative player in the central zone of the Russian national team. It must be admitted that after Capello headed the Russian team, he could not attract bright recruits to it. Shatov, Eshchenko, Glushakov, Kozlov, Kannikov and others like them did not become indispensable for the Russian team, did not become a new face of the Russian team - no matter how they put them in the main team. Capello regularly refers to the fact that in Russia there is no bright players in Russia, that he has no one to update the composition ... and, it seems, he is right. But this is not a reason to deprive of a place in the verified and experienced "collections" like Dzagoev, which have proved their usefulness already in Brazil.
