This is if you were liberal. If you are Prokhanov, then you, of course, are grieveing ​​in Russian people destroyed in the Donbass by a bloody junta, but they are delighted with the brilliant Putin calculation and salvation of the empire, which otherwise the “concentrated West” could turn into ashes (I hope not radioactive). And Russian people will help Novorossiya without troops - in fact, why do we need troops?

Both of these positions come from faith to power and luck, surrounding Putin and carrying it in a mountain height. For some, Putin is the Russian Lord Himself, for some - just the devil, but his fellow citizens have no doubts about the exclusivity of the Russian president. And it's not about Putin. The case is in Russia. Rather, in the amazing ability of her society to deify power.

We observe this outfit deification in those distant times when the authorities unearthly broke the Russian religious feeling - and it turned out that only a few are faithful to faith, and the majority believes in power. As a result, the Old Believers, who did not change their symbol of faith, turned out to be the only free people in a huge empire. But the myth of “Orthodox Rus'” was so firmly settled in the consciousness of its elite that then the “exploiting classes”, coupled with the unfinished intelligentsia with amazement, monitored how yesterday’s quiet parishioners were destroyed, killed priests and robbed church property. But these same pogromers displayed the lines at the Lenin mausoleum and prayed to Stalin. Bolshevism became their new religion not because they actually believed in his ideals, but because the leaders of the Communist Party won the war and became a new government. And in Russia, power is a religion.

After decades, party -deck and security officers with the same amazement as the royal officials in 1917 watched the crowd overthrowing the monument to Dzerzhinsky, and could not understand where millions of communists who should defend their native party. But the party ceased to be ruling, which means that no one was interesting to anyone. On those who continued to stubbornly shout the slogans, which until recently were perceived as an integral attribute of common faith, began to look at the malacholny. Russia believed in democracy. Rather, in the "king of Boris." And when the king, like many European monarchs, renounced and chose the successor, perceived it for granted. And since then he believes in Putin with almost the same whirling with which she believed in the Bolsheviks. And this gloomy unites the Bolotnaya with the "Russian march" and the liberal with Prokhanov. Because this faith is not in good or evil - this is a faith in exclusivity.

But there is actually nothing exceptional in the tactics of maintaining power. For centuries in Russia, only this has been engaged in this. And the manifesto of October 17 is from the desire to calm the people and maintain power. And "the world - to peoples, factories - workers, land - to the peasants" - this is not about the world and land, but about the seizure of power. And “our Crimea” there - not without reason everyone is so happy about the inflated rating. And the rejection of the right to introduce troops is about sanctions, and not about wisdom. And sanctions are the collapse of the economy. And the collapse of the economy is the collapse of the regime. In a word, a sabotage is better than war.

Excuracy is when there is a desire to build a prosperous state, and not to give it a bunch of rogues, from shoremikins and stools to Timchenko with Rotenbergs. Excuracy is when people are born, and not perish for the sake of the whim of these crooks and the needs of their rating. Excuracy is when dirt, abominations, lies, corruption and poverty are not considered as a natural state. Exclusiveness is when you know how to build good relations with your neighbors, and not scare the whole world. This is an exceptional politician.

But you won’t believe it - and not because he cannot be, but because he is not a god, not a king and not a hero or even a devil, but an ordinary boring official, who works for the good of his country and its citizens criticized by journalists for mistakes and with tears in his eyes losing elections. Churchill left after a terrible war won. Stalin finally turned into a living god. As a result, successful Russians now live in London, buy houses there, teach children, pay taxes.

And they believe in Putin.
