© Placebo / PMI PLACEBO Corporation in KrasnoyarskSince the beginning of June, the British rock band Placebo has been making a documentary about its Russian tour as part of the Loud Like Love tour.
The teaser is published on Facebook Placebo . The director of the film, Charlie Targeth-Adams, is known as the author of short films for Duran Duran , Bat For Lashes and Roxy Music .
Placebo came to Russia with their list of attractions, which they certainly wanted to see. The main goal of the documentary is to show that Russia is not only Moscow and Petersburg, that there are many other cities where there is something to see and there is something to be surprised.
“Every time we came to Russia, we visited only two cities-Moscow and St. Petersburg. - quotes the drummer Placebo Stephen Forrest organizer of the tour, PMI Corporation. “Those places where we are touring now are very different from what we saw before.”
Forrest especially liked in Siberia: “There are a huge number of beautiful landscapes, military monuments and old buildings that look unique and remind of the past. In this round, we open a lot for ourselves. We have never been here, and everything here seems unusual for us. We, like children, are very excited and interested, look around with an open mouth and try not to lose sight of anything. ”
Earlier, Placebo photographs made in canteens, at stations, in traffic jams and at city observation decks appeared on the Web.
Filming Placebo will end in St. Petersburg, where on July 7 in the Ice Palace the group will give the last Russian concert of the Loud Like Love tour. Before that, on July 5, British musicians will perform in Moscow at the Svoy Subbotnik 2014 festival.
