Gazprom will independently build "the power of Siberia"

Gazprom will build a gas pipeline “Siberia Power” independently and will provide it with loading it. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the concern Vitaly Markelov at the annual meeting of shareholders of the concern, RIA Novosti reports . So he answered the shareholder’s question if the monopoly wants to divide the costs of the project with independent manufacturers and put them into the pipe.

"For guaranteed provision of gas supplies to the PRC, to fill the" forces of Siberia "of the gas and Irkutsk gas fields of the Gas and Irkutsk gas fields for the entire period of the project. The construction of the Siberian force gas pipeline is planned to be carried out at the expense of Gazprom," Markelov said.

The costs of this project will be taken into account when revising the investment instructive of the first half of the year. As the head of the Gazprom financial and economic department, Andrei Kruglov, explained, we are talking about adjusting the costs of design and survey work, relocation of equipment and equipment. Gas processing and helium plants as part of the project will be built on the principles of project financing. Gazprom does not plan to enter the market for external borrowings at least until the end of the year, Kruglov emphasized.

Earlier, Gazprom abandoned the idea of ​​pre -capitalization, which President Vladimir Putin proposed to think about. The Ministry of Finance of Russia also decided that Gazprom’s additional ministry was not at all, since information about the advance payment of $ 25 billion by Chinese partners was confirmed as part of a gas contract previously signed between the two countries.

The day before, Kruglov said that Gazprom advocates defrosting gas tariffs and tax benefits. The monopolist offers an increase in gas tariffs in 2015 by 2 percent plus inflation, in 2016 - by 3 percent and further by 4 percent annually. Given the forecast level of inflation, the actual increase in gas prices will be 8-10 percent.
