Conference "Samizdat: era, texts, fate"

In Moscow, a two -day conference "Samizdat: era, texts, fate" is held.

On June 26, the event was held in the premises of the "International Memorial" (Karetny Ryad, 5/10), beginning at 10:00.

On June 27, the conference will continue in the premises of the Center for Social and Political History of the GPI of Russia (Wilhelm Piku St., 4, K.2), beginning at 10:00.

The conference considers the phenomenon of Samizdat in a wide historical and cultural context and the following problems are discussed:

• Archeography and bibliography of Samizdat;

• Samizdat. Informal press. Internet: parallels and analogies;

• Samizdat to samizdat;

• Samizdat of Eastern Europe;

• 1950- The first half of the 1980s: "The Golden Age of Samizdat"- "." or "?".
