
Moscow State University today, June 28, denied the dismissal of the head of the Department of Sociology of International Relations of Alexander Dugin.
“Currently, the term of the employment contract Mr. Dugin at the sociology faculty is not over, and he continues to work. There were no dismissals, ” the Interfax quoted the press service of the Moscow State University.
The report said that Dugin was enlisted at the extrabudgetary rate of Professor of the social faculty of Moscow State University by order of the dean of the faculty of Vladimir Dobrenkov, who, at the same time, leaves his post.
“Professor Dobrenkov leaves the post of Dean of the Faculty of Sociology of Moscow State University of his own free will and in connection with the expiration of the term of office on June 30, 2014,” the press service said. At the same time, it is emphasized that Dobrenkov does not leave Moscow State University and remains to work as a professor and head of the Department of History and the theory of sociology.
On Friday, June 27, Dugin said that he had completed work at Moscow State University, as the rector Viktor Sadovnichy canceled the decree on his appointment to the head of the department. Dugin also reported that Dobrenkov was completing work at the faculty.
