In Iraq is restless, the detachments of the “Islamic state in Iraq and Levante” (ISIS, or, as it is called in English, ISIS) move to Baghdad. The Iraqi army does not shine with valor and without covering from the air is still more scattering than fighting the ISIS. And the Iraqi military has no cover from the air because the F-16 F-16 fighters ordered in the United States in September 2011 are still in the United States. The first of them was formally transferred to Iraq on June 5 of this year, but Iraqi pilots only complete the flight training course. In total, until the end of the year, Iraq should be three or four F-16 out of eighteen. In general, the business goes as it is started - but things in Iraq are not going at all as, in theory, it should be instituted.
Aviation support of the army is sorely lacking. The head of Iraq Nuri al-Malika does not like this state of affairs at all. On June 26, he announced that the state headed by him purchased an unnamed number of “backing” aircraft in Russia and Belarus with a delivery period - three days (that is, by the end of June). After delivery, the Russian-Belarusian “dry”, according to al-Maliki, will be ready for combat use within a week-and this should turn the wheel of luck towards the Iraqi government army.
And in this place one question arises. The fact is that such recordly short terms of supply of equipment-three days with bringing into combat readiness in one week-mean that aircraft are supplied from the presence of military-air forces, not even from warehouses. But in the Air Force that Belarus, that Russia, even signs in the pilot cabin, are not subtle not in Arabic. And those models of aircraft that can be put from the Air Force in Iraq today were never in service with Iraqi aviation, that is, pilots to manage with them, in Iraq, even if everything were signed in the cabin in an understandable language. There is no one to fly on airplanes so hastily delivered by Baghdad.
Together with airplanes in Iraq “leased”, also Russian pilots
This means almost only one thing: together with airplanes in Iraq, the pilots were also “leased”. Which, as almost any graduate of the secondary school of the former Soviet Union might guess, not know a single language except Russian (and, possibly, Belorussian). Controlled equipment installed on aircraft supplied in such a hurry also works at frequencies adopted in the armies of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and not in Iraq (or in the USA, whose equipment is in service with the Iraqi army). That is, the possibilities of normal interaction between pilots gathering in a week to go to combat missions, with ground -based intelligence services and target designations, telling where, in fact, it is necessary to shoot, it will not be normal.
The Igilians, for all their combat statues, still represent in many ways the detachments are quite motley, moving-and this is important-mainly in the captured transport of civil samples. That is, the pilots will have to beat on civilian trucks with the people in the back - in the assumption that this very people are in the back and there are hostile ISIS. Thus - in the back of the truck - too many move in Iraq. It is impossible to avoid blows on innocent civilian civilians with such a hurry. Now, and imagine that in a week Igilian and other media will begin to tell the world about how Russians (hardly anyone will distinguish Belarusian), pilots destroyed one, three, twenty -five trucks with peaceful Iraqi peasants in the air raid ...
Al-Maliki, obviously, will insist on continuing the sorties ... And the number by mistake (and ignorance of the Arabic language) of destroyed peaceful trucks may multiply ... I believe that now it is time to think about how to get out of such a difficult situation in the propaganda attitude.
