The State Duma introduces criminal liability for violations at rallies and marches

The State Duma adopted in the second reading a bill on criminal liability for violations at rallies and processions, Ekho Moskvy reports .

Recall that the bill on the introduction of criminal liability for repeated violations during rallies was submitted for consideration to the State Duma on April 1, and on May 20 it was adopted in the first reading. For repeated violation of the rules during mass actions, according to the new law, criminal liability for up to five years, a fine of up to 1 million rubles or in the amount of the offender's salary for a period of 2 to 3 years may be threatened.
