The lawyers of the deceased Boris Kolesnikov claim: the general was beaten and he was actually brought to suicide

Two independent medical examinations refute the official version that General Kolesnikov independently received a head injury, the lawyers said at a press conference held on June 30 in an independent press center. Defenders of the General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who was released on June 16 from the sixth floor of the building of the Investigative Committee in Technical Lane, said that Boris Kolesnikov was actually brought to suicide. “If Kolesnikov provided the necessary medical care, then this tragedy would simply not have happened,” said Anna Stavitskaya’s lawyer.

“Due to the fact that my life is really in danger, I still can’t tell you exactly how these injuries were caused to me. Including, if the European court decides on the confidentiality of my appeal <...>, I will describe the events that happened to me 05/04/2014, ”wrote Kolesnikov himself in a complaint in the ECHR ( a copy of the document is in the editorial office of“ New ” ).

Recall that on May 4, the arrested Kolesnikov received numerous head injuries, at first the investigation explained this by the fact that the suspect fell from the windowsill in Lefortovo, when he wiped the window, then changed the version: the suspect fell out of bed and hit his head on the iron cabinet standing nearby. This story immediately raised many questions - all Lefortov’s cameras are equipped with video cameras. But there is no record of the incident anywhere. The examination, which was conducted by lawyers, showed: damage to the skull in two places (frontal and parietal part) - a consequence of the blow or a series of strokes with a dull object on a fixed head. “That is, not Kolesnikov hit his head on a dumb object, but a dumb object repeatedly hit Kolesnikov’s head,” said Stavitskaya.

The fears for the life and health of the accused only intensified when Kolesnikov became bad on July 3 on investigative actions. The health worker attested to an increase in cranial pressure, and later Boris Kolesnikov himself admitted that before coming to the investigator’s office, he rushed. Later, a neuropathologist and a neurosurgeon insisted on the need for immediate hospitalization, as they feared death. Such a traumatic brain injury can cause not only physiological, but also mental consequences (depressed state, depression, the appearance of various phobias). Lawyers sent a motion to transfer Kolesnikov from a pre -trial detention center to a medical institution to which no one has answered so far.

Anna Stavitskaya added that “she never saw a person in a similar state. He was crushed. All this accumulated and led to the tragedy. ” Lawyers also noted that they did not know what investigators were talking about on the day of death with Boris Kolesnikov - he spent more than an hour in the Investigative Committee without his defenders. Only an hour later, a lawyer Chizhikov was able to come there, who accidentally found out that his client was not in a pre -trial detention center and that he was taken away for conducting certain investigative actions. True, Sergei Chizhikov himself said that he did not notice any deviations in the general’s behavior. According to him, Kolesnikov was calm, assembled, together with investigator Novikov and escort, the general left the office - there were no handcuffs on it. No more than five minutes passed, the investigator Novikov returned and reported suicide. The third participant in the press conference, the lawyer and close friend of the deceased Georgy Antonov, presented the printout of the audio recording of General Denis Svugrobov, the head of the Main Directorate of Economic Security (GuibipK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, whose deputy was the deceased Kolesnikov. Svugrobov is also the accused in the case of a provocation of a bribe and the creation of a criminal community. In total, more than ten employees of the State Unitary Enterprise of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are held in the case. According to investigators, the police tried to substitute an FSB officer - they planned to introduce themselves to businessmen and “ask under the roof” for 10 thousand dollars a month. According to the UK, General Kolesnikov was responsible for the organizational measures necessary for this operation, and General Svugrobov could not know about it. According to the lawyer Antonov, whom the investigation was able to withdraw from the case, with this provocation of snowdrifts, Kolesnikov and their subordinates "crossed the road to the most omnipotent special service - the service of the FSB’s own security."

In confirmation of their words, lawyers presented an audio recording and printout of the interrogation of Svugrobov, which managed to record. At this interrogation, which took place on May 16 and on which the general was an official accusation, investigator Novikov in the presence of lawyers seemed to directly say that "this case is not in the legal plane," but the snowdrifts "for the fact that you, Denis Aleksandrovich are the head of the Main Directorate of Economic Security." Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (the organization of the criminal community) is presented "so that there is a long term of the investigation." Fragments of the audio recordings, according to lawyers made in the investigator’s office, were transferred to the assembled journalists.

Representatives of the Investigative Committee have not yet made a statement about the press conference.
