
The Ministry of Culture denied the statement of director Vitaly Mansky about the situation with his documentary project “Native”, claiming state financial support.
The Mansky statement “contains inaccurate information and false accusations,” the commentary published today, July 2 on the website of the ministry .
The other day, the director said that, contrary to the decision of the expert council on a non -aggregate cinema, the Ministry refused to support his film “Native”, which tells about the Ukrainian family, divided as a result of the events of the latest history of Ukraine.
Vitaly Mansky wrote that public protection of special projects of non -game cinema took place on the Ministry of Culture on May 23. On the same day, an expert vote protocol was published on the ministry’s website, but soon disappeared. When on June 27 the protocol reappeared on the site, the “relatives” project were not in it.
“The protocol of the decision of the expert council, which would record that the“ relatives ”project were recommended for financing, was not published and, accordingly, could not be deleted in a day, and the voting results were replaced,” the Ministry of Comrels commented.
The ministry admits that the Mansky project “really received a sufficient number of votes of members of the Expert Council in order to be among the recipients of state financial support”, but “Mr. Mansky was confused in various interviews).”
The Ministry of Culture of the Ministry of Culture says that the Minister of Culture decided to postpone the financing of “relatives” before the stabilization of the Sitaus in Ukraine, and that “this decision was supported by most members of the Expert Council, which is reflected in the protocol first published on the Ministry of Culture of Russia on June 27, 2014.”
