In St. Petersburg they will present a rally-operator "Crimea"

On July 10, on the Victory Day in the Battle of Poltava on the historical stage of the von derviz mansion in St. Petersburg, the premiere of the opera-blowing of the Crimea will be held. The main topics of the performance are love for the homeland and the centuries -old struggle for Crimea.

The creators of the performance are the director and artistic director of the Chamber Theater “St. Petersburg Opera” Yuri Alexandrov, conductor Maxim Valkov, the head of the music and drama theater “Blue Bird” Anastasia Udalova, choreographer Nadezhda Kalinina.

The basis of the production was the opera of the forgotten Soviet composer Marian Koval “Sevastopol” about the defenders of the hero city, written during the Great Patriotic War. “Having preserved the expressive music of Koval, Yuri Alexandrov completely processed the opera’s score, creating a completely new, inspired work about his homeland and folk unity,” the announcement on the website of the St. Petersburg Opera theater says.

Military-historical clubs, children's dance-chorus groups will participate in the play. The dramatic artist in the role of the narrator will connect historical events: from the Russo-Turkish war, through the Great Patriotic War, to the modern Maidan.

“The Interactive performance“ Crimea ”is conceived in a completely new genre, which, in essence, was not yet. This is an opera-miller, in which the audience will be able to take the most lively and direct participation, becoming not only the actors of an unusual performance, but also expressing their civic position, ”the organizers of the presentation write.
