Oleg Petrenko was born in 1965 in Odessa, debuted on the Moscow Art scene in 1984 at the Moscow -Odessa exhibition in the Aptart gallery. From 1985 to 1999 he worked with the artist Lyudmila Skripkina as part of the Peppers group.
The group’s works are located in many museum and private collections, including the Jewish Museum in New York, the Jane Wurchis Zimmerley Museum (Norton and Nancy Dodge collection), the collection of Viktor Pinchuk and others.
At the end of June, a charity auction was held at the Vincuration in Moscow to raise funds for treatment with Oleg Petrenko. More than 50 artists donated a total of 76 of their works for the auction.
