The artist from Donetsk, Maria Kulikovskaya, who fled to Kyiv after the start of Russian aggression, held a protest action against Russian policy in St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg. This was reported on the FB page of the Donetsk platform of artistic initiatives "Isolation".

On Thursday, Kulikovskaya wrapped herself in the Ukrainian flag and lay on the steps of the stairs in the courtyard of the main headquarters - one of the buildings of the Hermitage. In the “isolation” report, the action is called “unauthorized”. Nevertheless, the artist was not detained.

As COLTA.RU clarifies , Manifesto-10 takes place in the Hermitage from June 28 to October 31. Basically, the festival project is participated in 54 artists and creative associations.

At the same time, artists from around the world protested against Biennale in St. Petersburg because of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Creative platform "What to do?" She refused to participate in the Manifesto.

Shortly before the opening of the festival, the work intended for demonstration was checked "for compliance with the norms of Russian legislation." The General Director of the Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky stated that according to the results of the audit, no “violations” were identified.
