The Security Service of Ukraine is investigating criminal proceedings against Russian journalist Dmitry Kiselev under the article financing of terrorism. This was reported to UNIAN by the head of the SBU Valentin Nalivaychenko.
According to the head of the department, the financing of the militias in Ukraine is carried out with the help of Russian banking institutions and former Ukrainian officials, including those from the Ministry of Defense.
“The third component that we have documented is, including through the International Press Institute, headed by Mr. Kiselev, who so cunningly and brazenly comments and twists the information situation from Ukraine, through this institution, separatist organizations are financed,” Nalyvaichenko noted.
In addition, the SBU opened criminal proceedings against the head of the Border Service of the FSB, Vladimir Kulishov. He is charged with supporting and financing terrorists in eastern Ukraine
