"Court bikers" win in the Crimea, but are defeated in the Moscow City Court

The Appellate Board of the Moscow City Court upheld the verdict of the Zelenograd judge Oleg Grivko dated March 28, according to which the biker Yuri Nekrasov was convicted for exceeding the limits of necessary defense to 10 months in prison and released from the courtroom, since on charges of causing grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the "night wolf" Valery Roditelev from Sevastopol, he has already spent more than a year and a half in the pre-trial detention center.

After the entry into force of the verdict, Nekrasov and his comrades intend to insist on a real investigation of another, but directly arising from the verdict of Judge Grivko, a criminal case: the attack of the Night Wolves on the Three Roads club on the night of October 20, 2012.

Novaya Gazeta closely followed the “biker case” ( see No. 44 of April 23. - “Fight off the pack” ), which, in the midst of its consideration in the Zelenograd court, acquired special significance due to the events in the Crimea and Ukraine ( for participation in which the leader of the "wolves" Alexander Zaldostanov (Surgeon) was once again noted by the president). At this point, the judiciary, which, despite the pressure, issued a fair and legal decision in a case that had acquired a political character, found itself out of phase with the wave of arbitrariness that the events in Ukraine generated in Russia. From this point of view, of particular interest to us will be the further development of the story associated with the attempt of the “night wolves” to punish the “free bikers” for refusing to obey their demands, which was the essence of what happened in Zelenograd on the night of October 20 the year before last.
