The Ukrainians continued to suffer serious losses during this time. On Monday, the power operation in eastern Ukraine was continued.

On Wednesday, the Foreign Minister of Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine agreed on a package of measures to resolve the situation in Ukraine. They include the convocation of the tripartite contact group in the near future. The OSCE should monitor the cessation of fire. An agreement was also reached that all hostages should be released, and the checkpoints of the pass on the Russian-Ukrainian border are transferred to Ukraine’s control.
