The Security Service of Ukraine has opened criminal proceedings against the adviser to Russian President Sergei Glazyev, RIA Novosti reports.
The head of the SBU Valentin Nalivaichenko noted that the proceedings were open under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - "Public calls for the unleashing of a military conflict."
Nalvaichenko said that the SBU also wants to receive Glazyev’s testimony against the chairman of the Donetsk-Lugan parliament Oleg Tsarev and the acting Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov. "He should give testimony - that it is Aksenov, the Tsarev advise him what kind of tasks these people receive from him," said the head of the SBU.
According to Nalvaichenko, Ukrainian investigators consider Glazyev to be responsible for planning "military operations, providing terrorists of this or that assistance, planning special information operations."
Earlier, Glazyev made several sharp public statements to Ukraine. On June 27, in an interview with the Air Force, he called Petro Poroshenko Nazi, and Ukraine - "Nazi Frankenstein." The official accused the "Euroborcrates" of the fact that "they helped the Nazis come to power" in Ukraine, and now they force Kyiv to conclude an agreement on the Association with the EU.
In early June, Glazyev proposed to deliver preventive blows to the positions of the Ukrainian army in order to "prevent it from getting stronger." “We still have the opportunity to do this, in six months there will be no such opportunity,” he emphasized. The application was made against the backdrop of the proposal of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to stop battles in the east of the country.
