One of them faces 15 days of arrest for "failure to fulfill the legal requirements of police officers." Shortly before this, the second charity evening in support of political prisoners took place at the Moscow Museum and the Public Center named after Andrei Sakharov. At the event, one could hear songs, poems and fragments of letters of "prisoners", support them financially and write letters to them.

Civil activists went to the square with anti -Putin’s posters and T -shirts with images of the defendants of the so -called swamp business. At first, the police restrainedly watched single pickets, but closer to eight o’clock the detention of people began - after the young people at the monument to Marshal Zhukov launched a banner with the inscription "Putin - Russia's shame!" In total, five people were detained. Four of them were released after drawing up protocols under Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code - "Violation of the Rules of the rally." Against activist Pavel Kuznetsov, administrative production was opened under Article 19.3 - "Failure to fulfill the legal requirements of police officers." He faces an arrest for 15 days.

Shortly before in the center of Moscow, In the Museum of Sakharov, a charity evening took place in support of the "Prisoners of Bolotnaya". The main task of such evenings, as their organizers say, to tell and remind that there are political prisoners in Russia. According to Tamara Lezhnina , the co-chair of the Moscow Branch of the RPR-Parnas party, the equally important goal of these shares is to support prisoners of conscience, including the defendants in the "swamp business" and other political prisoners:

- It is very pleasant that people come and write postcards, write letters to the prisoners. "Rosuznik" conveys all this, and those people who sit, understand that they are remembered, they know about them. It is very important to know that they are waiting for you there at large, ” Tamara Lezhnina believes.

This is the second promotion held by the “Committee on May 6”, “Rosuznik”, “Union of solidarity with political prisoners”, the party “RPR -PARNAS” and the movement “Solidarity”. The evening, held on June 12, helped raise more than two hundred thousand rubles for the needs of organizations supporting political prisoners. More than a hundred messages were transferred to the prisoners. Among the speakers were human rights activists Lyudmila Alekseeva and Lev Ponomarev, artists Lia Akhedzhakova and Alexander Filippenko.

Tamara Lezhnina is pleased with how the first meeting passed:

- June 12 was a very warm evening. We did not even expect so many people, not everyone could enter the hall, many stood on the street. Those who performed with us did it from the heart, from a pure heart. This is Leah Akhedzhakova, who read excerpts from the letters of the "prisoners", this is Alexander Filippenko, who brilliantly reads poetry, this is Natella Boltyanskaya. A lot of letters were written. The goal that we set was achieved.

The organizers of the evenings in support of the "prisoners of conscience" hope that such events will become regular, and the number of participants will increase, Tamara Lezhnina continues:

- Our goal is to learn as many people as possible that we have "prisoners of conscience." Also, our goal is to give a signal to the guys who are sitting is the "prisoners of the Bolotnaya", over whom the court has already passed , and those who are now processing the processes . We plan that people who can ideologically and not share our views will respond to our calls. I believe that charity, the desire to help my neighbor should be in the soul of every person. In the evening on July 6, Oksana Mysina, who perfectly performs Okudzhava, kindly agreed to take part in the evening. Maybe these evenings will somehow be modified, but we would like to make them regular, ”says Tamara Lezhnina .

In support of the political prisoners on July 6, Bard Julius Kim , writer Viktor Shenderovich , actor Alexei Devotchenko and others spoke in support of July 6. The poet and publicist Lev Rubinstein , a participant in both charity events, believes that such an opportunity to support political prisoners is necessary:

- Forms of social resistance can be completely different. For people who are more motivated politically, some kind of promotions, statements are more natural. People engaged in art support like -minded people in those forms that are most organic to them. The poet is verses, the artist - paintings, musician - music. Forms can be different, none of them is more preferable to the other. You need to use those of them that are available to us. I am very grateful that I was invited, because this is not only an opportunity to somehow declare their position, but also a chance to provide real, material assistance to people who are not at large, ”says Lev Rubinstein .

This date was not chosen by chance: on May 6, 2012, a protest was held in Bolotnaya Square, which, according to the authorities, grew into riots. Those events have become the subject of the trial. Now in the criminal case more than thirty defendants, 13 of them are amnestied, 11 are already convicted.
